Greetings and thanks or posting here! Hmm, are you saying you received a 500 error right after activating the plugin?
Or did the error occur upon uploading image files?
In case it helps, Yahoo's been having intermittent service as reported here with some possible workarounds or the moment:

On the other hand, if you're seeing 500 errors just from activating the plugin, I'd love to get that sorted.
If it's just from activating the plugin, could you please enable debugging as detailed here then let us know if anything turns up in your error logs?
