First of all, I think I'm on the most recent version of Wordpress. I can't check to make sure because of the corrupted plugins.
My website basically decided to deny me access through my wordpress admin login starting about 2 weeks ago. I would either get a message about too many loops or occasionally a 500 internal server error message.
I found a thread that suggested the problem was probably in my plugins. It suggested I go in through FTP, rename my plugins folder "plugins-old" and then create a new plugins folder. THAT WORKED! It allowed me to access my WP dashboard, and my site loads again! GREAT! -> darcypotter.com
But now, the only parts of my site that function are posts, pages, and themes. I can't access anything in settings, tools, plugins, etc. If I click any of those, I get a 404 error. My dashboard seems to think I am still using Total Cache, but I try to empty, access the support, or really anything I get that 404 error.
Is there a way I can completely uninstall and delete any trace of my plugins without destroying my site?
