Hello! Is it possible to create several WP-installations like this?
public_html wordpress here
--> folder 1 wordpress here too
--> folder 2 wordpress here three
I don't see why this wouldn't be possible. I tried this live with a host we're planning to use. The root folder installations works crystal clear. And installing one in a folder works too. However whenever I change the permalink or even touches the permalink settings for the installation in one of the folders. The folder installation immediately becomes "500 internal server error" and I can't access the folder sites or the folder site admin panels. The root site works flawlessly still.
Is this an error with my host? Could it be mod_rewrite or something else in the htaccess? I can't continue working with my project unless this matter is settled.
